According to Jah, the true God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the world is not going to end in 2012.
There have been films, documentaries, articles, books, magazines, newspapers, websites, blogs and many communications promoting the 2012 idea of the end. But have you stopped to consider what is behind the 2012 furore? Some may say money, others will cite fear-mongering,and others may point to conspiracy or even control, whether religious, mental or spiritual. Others will think it’s just an outright silly belief that is laughable! Well, all of these have a part to play but the real driving force behind the 2012 prediction is the Adversary, who we also know as Satan or Lucifer.
The Adversary knows the world has turned the corner and is heading swiftly towards the End Times. He knows it is coming but he doesn’t know exactly when. But he does know that the end of the world will not be in 2012 because he knows more of the Word of God than most people today. He knows from the Book of Daniel and from the Book of Revelation that there is a period of at least 7 years before this world is utterly broken down when Jesus returns. At the time of writing, no one knows when the start of that 7 year period will be, so there’s at least 7 years left if not more before the much promoted 2012 total destruction happens. Now herein lies the Adversary’s ploy.
Consider this. There has been so much hype about 2012 that when we arrive in 2013 without the end of the world having taken place, then the Adversary will have just placed a master reference point in the minds of millions of unwitting people. The real value of the whole 2012 prediction to the Adversary is how he will use it in the years that follow. Let’s look into this further.
The year 2000 was a trial run for him. In the build up to 1 January 2000, there was so much hype regarding the disasters that were supposed to result from computers and programmes not being able to handle the year 2000 date. But, then the 1 January 2000 date just passed us by without all the hype becoming a reality. In the years that followed, many expressed their utter contempt for anything even remotely predicting an end of the world disaster. The fears stirred up by the year 2000 hype have been ridiculed and utter contempt has been etched on the minds of many. Yet, the 2012 myth is going to be used by the Adversary to discredit all notions of Biblical prophecy. For those who believed the 2012 predictions, they will be proved wrong when the end does not happen. For those who rejected the 2012 myth, they will be seen as the wise ones. Either way, predictions about the end and global disasters will look ludicrous. Prophecy in the Bible will be swept up with myth in one foul swoop. The idea of a disaster on such a global scale will be scorned because people will say “we’ve been here before” and “don’t be ridiculous, it will never happen – look at 2000 and 2012”. The echoes of contempt will ring around the world.
Yet, the danger of all this is that there is a time of severe judgment coming when Jah and Jesus Christ will utterly breakdown this world and remove the evil from it. After the 2012 myth has passed, many will be lulled into a sleep thinking that judgment will not come, just like 2000 and 2012 turned out to be just another year.
‘For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober’. (1 Thessalonians 5:2-6)
Don’t be double tricked by the 2012 myth. There’s a devilish wisdom behind it that the Adversary is keeping very close to his chest.
